The Erwin IDEAL-Cut

Symmetry and Facet Angles

Each Erwin Diamond is Individually Hand Selected for Ultimate Brilliance

Cut

Less than two (2%) of all diamonds are cut to Ideal-Cut proportions. A master cutter is the only human factor that ensures whether a diamond is cut to Ideal proportions.

We regard the cut (symmetry and facet angles) of each diamond as its most important and valuable characteristic.

The Ideal-Cut diamond describes a round brilliant diamond that has been cut to exact proportions. Fifty-eight (58) exactly placed facets produce the ultimate in beauty and brilliance.

Carat Weight

The weight of a diamond is measured in carats.
One carat is divided into 100 "points".
1 carat = 1.00 ct.; 1/2 ct. = 0.50 ct.; etc.

WEIGHT does not equal VALUE or BEAUTY.

A Diamond that is cut too Shallow or too Deep may weigh the same as an IDEAL-CUT DIAMOND but will forever lack the brilliance and scintillation of an ERWIN IDEAL-CUT DIAMOND.
